Last night I was able to secure new video to replace the old one(see yesterday's statement). I was visited out at the street by a former director of MWA to whom I explained how much I respect Heather Booth and the MWA. I also explained my need to get some facsimile of what had been said before. My friend George Ripley and I did discuss some evidence with her. As she left, she said that Heather would talk to me.
I bannered from 5 to about 7:30PM, put the sign away, and had a bite at the Hilton, where the MWA was having their awards event. I waited outside that event, saw US Senator Tom Harkin and the evening's award winner Congressman Barney Frank leave. When there were only about a couple dozen people left, I went in and spoke to Heather Booth.
I explained how I needed a compliment to Julian Bond's less powerful words on video suggesting the undercutting of Islamaphobia would be slight. I detailed my recent efforts to reach her. I added that I wouldn't insist, but I would be happy to suffer in jail over Christmas to try to touch her heart.

We're here with Heather Booth , the founder and I guess you're what, head of the board, chairman of the board, of the Midwest Academy, which is to my mind the most significant progressive training organization in the United States and has been for decades.
And I'm asking her to answer a question Is asked her a few months ago.
She's a very busy person. I've been having trouble tracking her down, but
The question was," if we could show Arab and Muslim people were not the culprits for 9/11, wouldn't that undercut the Islamaphobia which is being used to promote our current imperial ventures."
(Her response was,)"What I'd say is I'm not only for undercutting Islamaphobia, but finding a way where all people can live in harmony. And I support efforts that would take us in that direction."
Analysis,
While she didn't directly address the question, as Bond had, she was only speaking in the realm of what she had said months before. She actually made a very wise and fair statement. I suspect she was addressing concern for efforts of some of my 911Truth allies to generate resentment of Jews.
I mainly work with Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth.org) who are adamant that we not point fingers. The insistence is to choose evidence over speculation.
When I met Heather before, I had reviewed the significance of evidence that the towers came straight down. After making my case, she had asked," Who do you think did it?" My response was that she was asking me to speculate rather than discuss evidence. I said I would be willing to speculate, but after noting that most people avoid the evidence to focus on speculation out of cowardice. I also noted, "You're not afraid of anything."
Declaring Victory and calling off the NVCD
I already notified Judith Freeman at NOI I was calling of the civil disobedienceaction, but would still give a generous donation for the release of the Q & A from October.
I had asked Mr Bond if I could get back in touch for discussion of the evidence after the election a year away. He agreed, a fine outcome.
Greg Palast speaks tonight in DC in a small venue. I hope to get his response to the same question. I bet most major left gatekeepers would give an acceptable answer as a first response to the question. After I get enough, I could then challenge the left to discuss the evidence in some way where they can feel comfortable.
